About Fieldnet
Fieldnet aims to function as a network for researchers who conduct fieldwork. Our mission is to promote field research by creating a fellowship through online and offline activities. We operate a website and e-newsletter for members to share information on fieldwork-related events and publications. In addition, we promote the development of online connections into offline workshops and study groups to provide opportunities for exchanging research results, field information, and fieldwork-related knowledge. By combining online and offline activities, we aim to expand the possibilities of field science by applying the methods of different fields to individual research, as well as to new interdisciplinary collaborative research.
