There are about 300 indeginous languages in North America (present-day U.S.A. and Canada). I have been conducting research especially on the Salishan language family, and in particular, on the language spoken by the Sliammon/Klahoose/Homalco people. The primary goal of my research is to document this language in as much detail as possible.
