チュクチ語の記述研究に加え、モンゴル語方言の比較研究を行っている

I have been conducting research on the Chukchi language spoken in Siberia, Russia for more than 30 years. Through field research, I have been working on the description of the grammar of the Chukchi language, and I have collected a large number of folklore materials and published them in several books with English and Russian translations. I am greatly interested in language documentation for the purpose of recording and preserving languages. For the past few years, I have been conducting comparative research on Mongolian dialects spoken in China and Mongolia.
