Keyworddecolonization; colonialism; conflict resolution; peace negotiations; national identity; nationalism; political violence

The previous project “The Evolving Conflict in Palestine/Israel: Final Status and Emerging Challenges” (FY2022–24) analyzed why and how the Middle Eastern peace process collapsed, considering the 30 years after the 1993 Oslo Accords. Building on the outcomes of the previous project and the situations in Gaza since October 2023, this project conducts analyses grounded in the diversity and multilayered nature of local society to deepen the fundamental understanding of Palestine-Israel conflicts, by adopting analysis paradigm which could be called “history of hundred’s years”
