This work is the succeeding project of the “Multi-disciplinary Study on the Interactions between Islamism and Socio-cultural Factors in Southeast Asia—Transnational Networks and Local Responses” (2020–2022). The project adopts interdisciplinary methods to elucidate the impact of the progress of Islamization in Southeast Asia on local social relationships, including dispute and coexistence not only from the macroperspectives of institutions but also from the microperspectives of daily practice.
