The Evolving Conflict in Palestine/Israel: Final Status and Emerging Challenges

The stagnation of the peace process in Palestine/Israel has been explained through problems arising from the negotiating stances of the parties or from the challenges to the negotiating framework itself. This research group will show how the key issues (final status), including boundary demarcation, the jurisdiction of Jerusalem, and the right of return for refugees, have been transformed after the Oslo Accords almost 30 years on, while examining new challenges for future negotiations.
