In Balinese drama, non-disabled actors often imitate physical impairments and disabilities as a comedic device. On the other hand, although few in number, there are also comedians with actual physical disabilities who are active in performing. With their unique physical movements and humorous conversation, they make audiences laugh with the performer, and negotiate the meaning of a body and its disability.
