Assistant Professor Naoki UETA was awarded the Outstanding Presentation Award at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan.

Assistant Professor Naoki UETA was awarded the Outstanding Presentation Award at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan for his presentation titled “The phonetic characteristics of word-medial aspirated consonants in Mongolian.”

This award is presented to the best presentation at the Annual Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan by a graduate student or by a member of the society under 40 years of age as lead author. The award ceremony was held at the 39th Annual Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan on September 20th, 2025, in Kobe University.
