In Bali, Indonesia, traditions of masked dance have been passed down from generation to generation. In this workshop, you will join Yukako Yoshida, who studies Balinese performing arts, in putting on masks and costumes and trying out Balinese dance. Let’s pay attention to how your bodily sensations and awareness change when you “transform” into someone different—and when you return to your “usual self.
