Commons Café: Opening the Humanities to Society — Learning from De-Silo’s Practice

How can knowledge from the humanities and social sciences connect with society beyond the university and contribute to creating new initiatives and frameworks? For this Commons Café, we will welcome the Representative Director of De-Silo, an organisation that works with researchers in the humanities and social sciences on collaborative projects with companies and universities, as well as on creating spaces for co-creation. The session will begin with an introduction to De-Silo’s activities and the ideas behind them, followed by a Q&A and discussion with participants. This will be an informal opportunity to explore new ways of connecting knowledge from the humanities and social sciences with society.
