As the number of people from Africa living in Japan increases, the presence of people with roots in both Africa and Japan is also becoming more visible. Many grow up in Japan, while others grow up in Africa when their families relocate. Each experience brings valuable opportunities and learning, as well as difficulties. At this event, speakers will share their experiences of growing up in Africa and Japan from the perspectives of both children and parents. Through their stories, we hope to learn about the lives and experiences of African Japanese and Japanese Africans and to consider the future of Japanese society together. (Notice) This event is open to the public so that many people can take part in the discussion. To protect the privacy of the speakers and create an environment in which everyone can speak comfortably, please read all of the "Conditions of Participation" provided at the end of the Google Form and register only after agreeing to them.
