This event features a screening of the documentary Earth’s Greatest Enemy (directed by Abby Martin and Mike Prysner). Following the screening, a talk session will be held under the theme “The Reproduction of War in Militarized Okinawa,” featuring Wendy Matsumura (University of California, San Diego) and Kozue Uehara (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies). Through both the film and discussion, this event aims to explore the relationship between global military systems and local communities.
