Dr. Yakov Rabkin (Professor Emeritus at Université de Montréal) is a scholar of Jewish and Russian history who is widely known in Japan for his works Au nom de la Torah: Une histoire de l’opposition juive au sionisme (2004, translated by Kenji Kanno, Heibonsha, 2010), Israël et la Palestine: Rejets de la colonisation sioniste au nom de judaïsme (2024, translated by Satoshi Ukai, Iwanami Shoten, 2024), and others. While Israeli genocide against Palestinians is taking place in full view of the world, why have Israel's war crimes and violations of international law always escaped punishment? This lecture delves sharply and deeply into this crucial issue.
