The Global Mediterranean at ILCAA, in collaboration with the "Global Area Studies" research project, Special Research Group " The Reception History of Persian/Islamic Art from a Global Perspective," and other centers, will host an international workshop entitled "From Arts to Economy: Nineteenth-Century Iran in Global Contexts," inviting Markus Ritter (University of Vienna) and Christoph Werner (University of Bamberg). This workshop will examine 19th-century Iran from various perspectives in global contexts. We look forward to your attendance.
