On Wednesday, 4 February 2026, NIHU Global Mediterranean at ILCAA will host a lecture by Dr Charles Ganier (CESSMA, Université Paris Cité) entitled “The Khans of Mākū and Qajar Governance of Azerbaijan during the Weakening of the State Apparatus in the Province (1880–1911).” Dr. Naofumi Abe (Ochanomizu University) will serve as commentator.
