Descriptive Grammar Series 3: Matengo by Nobuko Yoneda (Professor Emeritus at Osaka University, ILCAA Joint Researcher) was awarded the Shinmura Izuru Prize FY2026.
It is the third volume of the series “Descriptive Grammars”, published first from ILCAA, through the project LingDy and DDDLing, and subsequently published commercially from Kurosio Publishers.
The Shinmura Izuru Prize is awarded for outstanding research in linguistics, Japanese linguistics, and related fields of study. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 23.
