Anthropologists, archaeologists, and curators explore the connections between sensibilities and institutions within their respective fields and methodologies. Their inquiry draws on case studies from the National Museum of Art, Osaka; the Art Tower Mito; New York; Niigata; Nigeria; Cuba; Fiji; sites of measured drawing production; and the Tsukuriyama Kofun burial mound group. Together, they document and engage in dialogue on diverse artistic practices.
