About the Project
Project term: April, 2023–March, 2026
In this project, field linguists share their own experiences of failures in their fieldwork. It has been recognized that these experiences of failure are not mentioned in papers. As a result, problems are less likely to surface and failures tend to remain within the experience of the individual. Therefore, in this research project, members share failure cases and discuss the causes and coping methods, so that similar failures can be prevented in the future.
