About the Project
Project term: April, 2023–March, 2026
This project aims to contribute to the research on the language, culture, and society of Taiwanese indigenous peoples with materials on Taiwanese indigenous languages collected by Dr. Shigeru Tsuchida, a linguist, during his fieldwork from 1968 to 1989. The specific goals are as follows: (i) to edit and publish linguistic materials, such as glossaries and textbooks, of Taiwanese indigenous languages; (ii) to publish academic papers on the branching and sorting of Taiwanese indigenous languages or on the vocabulary, phonetics, and grammar of each language.
