About the Project

Project term: April, 2009 - March, 2012

AIM OF PROJECT: This project aims to analyze various aspects of Korean historical linguistics, such as phonology, morphology, syntax, philology of Old, Middle and Modern Korean, and to construct shared research resources while developing analytic tools of the Korean database.

WORK PLANNED: 1) Periodic meetings where the latest research results of the collaborators are presented. 2) Publication of working papers on Korean historical linguistics. 3) Designing several programs/techniques to deal with Korean historical texts efficiently. 4) Further development of the Korean linguistics website.
