Special wine “Uhudler” in South Burgenland

Uhudler is a special wine in South Burgenland, Austria. It is made from “Uhudler” named grapes. The wine looks like rosé wine in appearance, but you could taste the flavor of various berries. It is very wonderful wine.

I have tasted a glass of Uhudler where Hungarian family runs the inn, because this neighborhood is one of the Hungarian communities in Burgenland. In Burgenland not only Germans, but as seen above Hungarians and Croats live together too. I think various nations and the flavors are images of Burgenland.

Hungarian Language has its origin in the Ural Mountains in Asia. The grammatical characteristics of Hungarian still fascinate me. Since I have researched Language Contacts between Hungarian and German from a view of Sociolinguistics in Burgenland.
