Arja is a form of Balinese drama which is typically performed at the day of Hindu ritual as an entertainment. It is a demanding art as it involves singing, dancing, as well as acting. In the effort of continuing this tradition, these days young children are encouraged to learn and take part in a performance. Those actors in the photo were elementary students at the time.
