When we travel in Myanmar, we see that roadside sellers sell various goods. It is vegetables and fruits that are most commonly seen to be sold both in urban and non-urban areas. Handyclaft products also are often sold in non-urban areas, but I have never seen puppets sold outdoors, hung from the branches of a large tree as in the picture. It might be a situation unique to Bagan, one of the foremost tourist sites in Upper Burma which is the home of puppet play.
