A store which stays one step ahead of Yangon

I have heard that there are 5000 kyat stores in Yangon perhaps after 500 yen shops in Japan. (5000 kyats are about 418.9JPY at the rate of 22 Feb of this year.) When I visited Myitkyina in Kachin State last December, I found a 4900 kyats store in the station road, which stays one step ahead of Yangon! A Burmese acquaintance of mine guesses that the store might be able to stock Chinese goods inexpensively beyond the border with Yunnan Province not too far from Myitkyina.
