Kelaut-i-Ghiljye, the Stronghold of the Ghiljyes
This stronghold is extremely solid; a fierce battle was fought here between the British army and the Ghilzay. This painting is from when the British army withdrew; the stronghold is destroyed and the British flag is erected. Like in Figure 6, the Ghilzay women are wearing the normal chador―note that it is not a burq‘a.
