City of Candahar: Its princilpal Bazar and Citadel
This picture was sketched on the naqqara khana, the terrace where the royal band played . The bazaar street extends straight ahead and various goods were sold there. The citadel is in the back; to the left is the mosque of “holy relics.” This mosque holds the cloak of the prophet Muhammad.
