Temple of Ahmed Shauh, King of Afghaunistaun, Candahar
The white building on the left is the tomb of Ahmad Shah ( r. 1747－72), the founder of the Durrani dynasty. Many faiths gathered here; even serious criminals could escape the administration of justice by reaching its threshold. Quail fighting can be seen in the tent in front of the tomb.
