The Bullock's Hump And Military Cantonments, Candahar
This picture shows the view from the city gates of Qandahar. The oddly shaped hill is called the “Bullock’s Hump”; the white tents of the British garrison can be seen at the base of the hill. The camp was located one mile from the town; the British army had to leave the camp and go into the city any time there was an incident.
