研究者養成32言語研修Intensive Language Courses 本研究所では毎年夏、専門研究者と母語話者を講師陣に迎え、アジア・アフリカ地域の研究を志す初学者を対象とした短期集中プログラムによる言語研修を実施しています。言語研修に参加することで、現地調査や文献研究を行うために必要な言語知識や調査の手法など、専門的知識も学ぶことができます。研修言語は、おもにアジア・アフリカ地域で話される少数民族の言語を含めた様々な言語を取り上げています。毎年、東京会場で2言語、大阪会場で1言語の研修を実施しています。これまでに実施された言語の数は、のべ135言語、修了者数のべ1,237名にのぼっています。修了者の中からは、大学や研究機関の職につき、アジア・アフリカ地域の専門家としての道を歩んでいく方々が輩出しています。 実施にあたっては、語学教育に造詣の深いAA研内外の専門委員と担当講師および所員がプロジェクトチームを組み、実施方法や評価についての議論を行い、効果的な研修を目指しています。すべての研修において講師陣が独自に教材を開発していることも、AA研の言語研修の大きな特徴のひとつです。大阪会場で実施されるものは、大阪大学大学院言語文化研究科の協力を得て行われます。研修生は、大学などの研究機関を通じて全国から公募します。研修を修了した人には審査のうえ、修了証書が授与されます。2006（平成18）年度より東京外国語大学の学部および大学院の開講科目となりました。2016（平成28）年度は、琉球語（東京会場）、ヒンディー語（大阪会場）の講座を開講しました。2017（平成29）年度は、ハンガリー語、ジャワ語（東京会場）の講座を開講する予定です。 現在、これまでに作成されてきた教材のウェブ上での公開も進めており、完成したものから順次公開しています。http://www.aa.tufs.ac.jp/ja/training/ilc/言語フィールド調査ワークショップ＠宮古島 本ワークショップは、消滅の危機に瀕する少数言語の包括的記録を目的とした言語ドキュメンテーション研究を活性化するために、危機言語の調査・This program has offered intensive courses on various Asian and African languages since 1967. The course deals with minority languages as well as national languages and/or official languages of Asian and African countries. A team of Japanese specialists and native speaker(s) instructs in each course with teaching materials they have edited. The expected participants are students and researchers who are pursuing Asian and African studies. They are expected to acquire not only language ability but also the expertize necessary to conduct eld research and/or philological research.The Committee for Language Training, which consists of the instructors, ILCAA staff, and experts in language education from other institutes, organizes the courses by discussing teaching methods and implementation plans. The committee also evaluates each course after the courses have taken place. Some courses are given at Osaka in cooperation with Graduate School of Language and Culture, Osaka University. Students are selected from applicants nationwide for each course. The target フィールド言語学ワークショップField Linguistics Workshops AA研では、研究者養成のための研修事業の一環として、特に大学院生・ポストドクターなどの若手研究者に向けたフィールド言語学に関する様々なワークショップを行っています。これらのワークショップは、特に研究の進んでいない言語のドキュメンテーションと記述に関するもので、日本の大学では通常、授業として行われていないものです。そのような研究者養成の一端を担うことは、AA研の重要な役割のひとつでもあります。 ほとんどのフィールド言語学ワークショップでは、参加者がそれぞれ自分がフィールド調査を通して得た言語データを持参することが求められます。ワークショップの講師が助言するばかりではなく、参加者同士が互いの経験を共有することによって、知見を広め深める場となっています。 フィールド言語学ワークショップには、下記に挙げるようないくつかのシリーズがあります。ILCAA offers various workshops on “eld linguistics”, aimed especially at graduate and post-graduate students and junior scholars. Workshops offered are mostly but not exclusively on documentation and description of underdocumented languages. They are complementary to courses offered at universities in Japan, thereby filling the gaps in the training of young linguists—an important role of ILCAA.At most of the Field Linguistics Workshops, participants are required to bring their original data, i.e., data obtained through their original eld research. The instructors give guidance, but the participants also learn from each other, through sharing their ideas and experience. There are several workshop series under Field Linguistics Workshops:
