Joint Research19Overview / 概要Joint Research / 共同研究Research Resources / 研究資源Training and Capacity Building / 研究者養成中国雲南におけるテクスト研究の新展開2015～2017年度 参加研究者数20名代表者:山田 敦士（日本医療大学） 雲南地域（中国の西南部にある省およびその隣接地域）は多民族・多文化が特徴的である。当該地域では、タイ系、チベット系、漢系、モンゴル系、アラビア系、ラテン系およびトンパやイなどの独自系などの多くの文字表記によって記された在地テクストが数多く残存している。従来、研究者は主にこうした在地テクストの掘り起こしと解題、内容分析に注力してきた。本研究プロジェクトでは、こうした一次資料のテクストとしての集積に加え、次のような新しい視点を導入することによる包括的なテクスト研究の深化を目指す。（1）道具としてのテクスト：リテラシー、教育、口承との関係（2）記録物としてのテクスト：解題、内容の分析、個別性への視座（3）テクストをめぐる社会活動：作成、分類、複製、保存、継承、廃棄。近世南アジアの文化と社会：文学・宗教テクストの通言語的比較分析2016～2018年度 参加研究者数17名代表者:太田 信宏（AA研） 本課題は、イギリス植民地支配期に直接的に先行する1500年頃から1800年頃（「近世期」）の南アジアの歴史を、文化的側面に焦点をあてて再考することを目的とする。南アジア各地において異なる言語で作成された文学作品や宗教文献などを、比較とつながりの視点をふまえて分析し、この時代を特徴付ける文化・思想的傾向の把握につとめるとともに、政治的領域を跨ぎ、宗教・言語・地域の違いを超えて広がっていたであろう当時の文化的なつながりのあり方について考察を深める。New Perspectives of Text Studies in Yunnan, ChinaProject term: Apr 2015 – Mar 2018; Number of participants: 20Coordinator: YAMADA, Atsushi (Japan Health Care College) The Yunnan area, the southwestern province of China and its adjacent area, is characterized as multi-ethnic and multicultural. Many local texts from this area are still written in the characters of Thai-Tai, Tibetan, Chinese, Mongolian, Arabic, Latin, and some other language having unique characters such as Tompa or Yi. Researchers have mainly focused their attention on finding local texts, annotating them, and analyzing their contents. The present project will not only continue to accumulate primary data such as texts but also develop a comprehensive study of texts on the basis of new perspectives, as follows: (1) Text as tools: literacy, education, relationship with oral literature etc., (2) Text as records: bibliography, analysis of contents, focus on specificity etc., and (3) Human activities around texts: creation, classification, copy, preservation, tradition, rejection etc.Culture and Society in Early Modern South Asia: Cross-Linguistic Comparative Studies of Literary and Religious TextsProject term: Apr 2016 – Mar 2019; Number of participants: 17Coordinator: OTA, Nobuhiro (ILCAA) This project aims to reconsider the cultural history of South Asia from the 16th to the 18th century (recently called the “early modern” period), immediately preceding the British colonial period. By making comparisons and nding connections between literary and religious texts composed in different languages at different places in South Asia during the period, this project attempts to grasp the tendencies of literature and thought that characterized the early modern South Asian cultures. In addition, the project will arrive at a new understanding of the cultural networks that may have extended pan-regionally, crossing both political borders and the differences of religions and languages.■歴史学・地域研究系■History / Area Studies中東社会における宗教宗派的・政治社会的少数派に関する研究2016～2018年度 参加研究者数11名代表者:近藤 洋平（AA研特任研究員） 本共同研究課題は、中東地域に暮らす人びとのうち、特に宗教宗派的・政治社会的少数派を取り上げるものである。各少数派の動向を、歴史学・思想史的手法および政治学・社会学的手法等を利用して考察する。そして得られた情報から同地域における人びとの対立と共存の歴史を推論し、現代中東社会の実態を見極めるとともに、あわせて、同地域に暮らす人びとの平和的共存の在り方について提言することを目的とする。Studies on Religious and Politico-Social Minority Groups in Middle Eastern SocietiesProject term: Apr 2016 – Mar 2019; Number of participants: 11Coordinator: KONDO, Yohei (Research Associate, ILCAA)The project covers religious and politico-social minority groups in Middle Eastern societies. It consists of two studies: one on religious minorities in Middle Eastern societies and one on politico-social minorities. The individual joint researchers will investigate topics consistent with the project aims, employing their specialized disciplines, such as history, sociology, and anthropology.
