20【"人間－家畜－環境をめぐるミクロ連環系の科学"の構築～青海チベットにおける牧畜語彙収集からのアプローチ】2014～2016年度 参加研究者数8名代表者：星 泉（AA研） 現在、チベット高原における牧畜業は、政府による定住化政策の推進と経営合理化の波にさらされることで、従来の生態的生業形態の変更を余儀なくされている。本共同研究では、言語学・人類学・宗教学・生態学・文学など、多分野にまたがる研究体制のもとで、牧畜に関係する語彙収集を通じて、青海チベットの牧畜民が家畜との緻密な関係のもとで作り上げてきたミクロな生活の知恵に接近する。そしてその成果を「牧畜語彙小辞典」という形で集約・刊行することで、マクロ・レベルの草原生態学との相互補完的な関係を持つミクロ・レベルの生活知に関する資料を整備するとともに、牧畜業の将来的再生をにらみ、現地社会への貢献を目指す。Nowadays, the nomadic pastoral lifestyle on the Tibetan High Plateau is facing the huge impact of “sedentarization” and “rationalization” by the national policy of the Chinese central government. In this joint research, we will approach the micro-life knowledge of the nomadic herders in the Amdo (Qinghai) Tibet region through nomadic vocabulary collection using multidisciplinary research, such as linguistics, anthropology, religious studies, ecology, and literature. By summarizing the results of our research into a compact dictionary, we will build a mutually complementary analysis about the macro level of grassland ecology and also contribute local society in expectation of future restoration of pastoral life in this region.【インドネシア周辺の少数言語・危機言語ドキュメンテーションに関する研究ネットワークの構築】2014～2016年度 参加研究者数22名代表者：塩原 朝子（AA研） インドネシアを中心とする東南アジア島嶼部はその豊かな言語的・文化的多様性によって知られているが、同時にそこで話されている少数言語の中には急速に話者を減らしているものが多く、早い段階での言語ドキュメンテーションが急務となっている。本課題では国内外の専門家、現地の専門家、現地語の話者が集まり言語ドキュメンテーション、アーカイビング、データ利用の手法を共有するためのネットワークを構築するとともに、言語ドキュメンテーションを進めるための実効的な活動を行う。具体的な活動としては、現地の研究機関における言語ドキュメンテーションの手法に関するセミナーの開催および、言語データの加工・蓄積・公開を目的とした現地話者コミュニティとの共同作業を予定している。The area in and around Indonesia is well-known for its linguistic and cultural variety. But many languages spoken there are seeing drastic reductions in speaker numbers, as communities shift to the national language Bahasa Indonesia or to a more dominant regional language. It is therefore urgently necessary to document regional and minority languages in order to preserve linguistic and cultural information that is precious to speech communities and their descendants, as well as to linguists and other researchers. This project will build a network between speakers of minority languages, local scholars and researchers, and foreign researchers, encouraging them to engage in collaborative work on collecting, editing, storing, and publishing substantial documentation of minority languages. Seminars and training sessions on the theory and practice of language documentation will be held at local universities and research institutes, with the aim of increasing awareness and the skills necessary for work on language documentation and revitalization.【朝鮮語アクセント・イントネーション研究】2014～2016年度 参加研究者数8名代表者：伊藤 智ゆき（AA研） 15～16世紀に朝鮮半島で話されていた中期朝鮮語は、弁別的アクセントを有していた。現代韓国語ソウル方言を含む多くの方言では、この弁別的アクセントが失われているが、韓国南東部の慶尚道方言や北朝鮮北部の咸鏡道方言、中国吉林省の延辺朝鮮語などには、中期朝鮮語と類似する弁別的アクセントが今なお保存されている。本研究プロジェクトでは、中期朝鮮語及び朝鮮語諸方言を対象に、アクセント・イントネーションの音韻論的・音声学的分析を進める。研究内容としては、基本的なアクセント体系の分析、複合語アクセント、中期朝鮮語との規則的対応率と例外の原因、借用語アクセント、世代差、方言間比較、フォーカスとイントネーションパターン分析等が含まれる。Middle Korean (15-16th c.) had a distinctive pitch accent. Many contemporary Korean dialects including Seoul have lost this distinctive accent; however, it has still been preserved in some dialects spoken in peripheral areas of the Korean peninsula: Kyengsang (South Korea), Hamkyeng (North Korea), Yanbian (north-eastern China), etc. In this project, we investigate the accent and intonation of these contemporary dialects as well as Middle Korean in detail. Based on the collected data, we will conduct joint research on the phonological/phonetic properties of the Korean prosodies. The topics we will work on include: identification of the basic accent system and tonal alternation rules; compound accent; regular correspondence rates with Middle Korean accent and the cause for exceptions; correlation between accent distribution and lexical class; loanword accentuation; generational differences; variation and analogical change; comparative studies of various dialects; reconstruction of a Proto-Korean accent; focus and intonation patterns; acoustic analysis of F0 tracings and peak delay, and the effect of segments on the phonetic realization of each accent class.共同研究Joint Research
