11 IRC is a research center within ILCAA that serves and assists the academic community both within Japan and abroad; it is committed to collecting, compiling, storing, and disseminating information resources on the languages and cultures of Asia and Africa. The activities of IRC are broadly classified into the following categories:(1) Development and compilation of digital research resources on the basis of linguistic and cultural materials collected in field research and those produced through joint research activities;(2) Disseminating online digital research resources;(3) Advancing research on methods of resource sharing and research collaboration;(4) Developing joint research projects that utilize and extend the method developed by IRC.情報資源利用研究センター (IRC) IRCは、アジア・アフリカの言語文化に関する情報資源の蓄積・加工・公開と、それを活用した共同研究手法の開発、国際学術交流の推進を目的とするAA研の附置センターです。以下の活動方針に基づいて活動を行っています。（1）研究資源構築と体系化：AA研およびそのスタッフや外部研究者が所 蔵するアジア・アフリカの言語文化に関する資料や共同研究の成果の デジタル化と公開を支援し、研究資源の蓄積につとめています。（2）研究資源をインターネットにおいて積極的に公開・発信し、国内外の研 究者コミュニティの利用に供しています。（3）研究資源の共有と共同研究に関する手法の探究を進めています。（4）IRCにおいて構築した研究手法を用いて、所外にも開かれた共同研究 を推進し、研究手法の普及、発展を図っています。http://www.aa.tufs.ac.jp/ja/about/organization/irc/ The original purpose of FSC is to establish “field science” as a discipline by developing methods of field research in humanities, social and natural sciences. It also serves as a center for systematic accumulation of records of field research conducted by Japanese scholars and for enhanced collaboration and communication between them. FSC has the following foci of activity:(1) Development of theory and practical methods of field sciences: FSC organizes open seminars “Field Science Colloquium” on the issues;(2) Establishing and managing two satellite research offices(p.37);(3) Activity of the office of Overseas Scientific Coordination Team (OCS)(p.29): organizing “OSC Forum” consisting of a workshop, a general meeting for information exchange, and sessions for each region;(4) Collaboration with the Japan Consortium for Area Studies (JCAS) (p.30): FSC functions as gateway of JCAS collaborative interaction in ILCAA.フィールドサイエンス研究企画センター (FSC) FSCは、AA研の研究活動を特徴づけてきた臨地調査の手法をより実践的・理論的に洗練させて、さまざまな学問の領域を横断する「フィールドサイエンス」を構築するとともに、調査関連データを体系的に蓄積し、臨地調査に関わる研究者間の連携を担うことを目的としています。現在、FSCの活動は次の4本の柱からなっています。（1）臨地調査に関わる研究手法の開発：「フィールドサイエンス・コロキア ム」という研究会を随時開催し、調査手法やデータの意味づけ、研究者 と研究対象の関係性の問題などを議論し、情報・知識・経験の共有化 を目指します。（2）海外研究拠点の設置・運営：国際共同研究を展開するため、2つの海 外研究拠点（p.37）を中心に学術交流を推進しています。（3）海外学術調査総括班（OCS）（p.29）事務局としての活動：「海外学術 調査フォーラム」を開催して、ワークショップ、情報交換のための全体会 議、地域別分科会を実施しています。（4）地域研究コンソーシアム（JCAS）（p.30）との連携： AA研はJCASの幹 事組織の1つであり、FSCはその連携活動の窓口となっています。http://www.aa.tufs.ac.jp/ja/about/organization/fsc/ / 概要 / 共同研究 / 研究資源 / 研究者養成
