10 本研究所は5つの研究ユニット（言語動態、文化動態、政治文化、情報資源戦略、コーパス）から成る１プロジェクト研究部および2つのセンター（情報資源利用研究、フィールドサイエンス研究企画）という組織体制をとっています。所員はいずれかのユニットまたはセンターに所属しています。そして、個々の専門研究領域に関わる探究を深めながら、基幹研究、共同利用・共同研究課題などにも参画し、国内外の研究者との密接な協力に基づいて、共同利用・共同研究拠点にふさわしい活動を推進しています。研究組織構成The Institute consists of the Research Project Division, comprising five research units (Field Linguistics, Culture Dynamics, Politics and Culture, Information Resources Strategy, and Written and Oral Corpus) and two centers (Information Resources Center and Field Science Center). All Institute staff members belong to one of these units or centers, and while pursuing their individual research, they organize and conduct joint research projects with scholars within and outside the Institute and also with those outside Japan.
