As a part of ``Corpora of Asian Scripts'' we are constructing a database of Indian Sacred Scriptures, both Hindu and Buddhist, written in Sanskrit.
From the Purāṇa literature we have selected the Agni-purāṇa and Śiva-purāṇa. The chapters 72--103 (except 91) of the Agni-purāṇa are cited from the Somaśambhupaddhati (a Śaiva manual), the e-text of this encyclopedic Purāṇa will be useful for various fields of Indian studies.
The first and seventh parts of the Śiva-purāṇa, the Vidyeśvara-saṃhitā and the Vāyavīya-saṃhitā are also digitalized.
As an example of commentary literature, Jayaratha's commentary to the Tantrāloka of Abhinavagupta vols. 1-3 are made into E-text format.
We provide these data in 4 formats: 2 for direct browsing in UTF-8 encoding of Nagarii and Transliteration, and nagari PDF format and Ascii text transliteration --- these are available from resources menu.
To view the UTF-8 nagari texts you can download the AA_NAGARI_SHREE_L3.ttf Open-type font. We recommend also for browsing the UTF-8 transliteration to download some good font such as Gandhari Unicode .
A tool for making a KWIC Index is developed for a Buddhist commentary literature. We have published Keyword In Context Index to Jinendrabuddhi's Viśālāmalavatī Pramāṇasamuccayaṭīkā Chapter I as the result. The PDF version of it is available from resources menu.
Please read the license.txt and also the head of the vdiff.pl to use the diff tool to report errors.
