THE BROKEN MLV OF THE CENTRAL PROVINCES.

　Mlv is spoken, but in a corrupt form, being much mixed with Bundl and Nm, in parts of the Hoshangabad and Betul Districts. With this may be classed the corrupt forms of Mlv used by the Bhyars and Katiys of Chhindwara, and the Pa ws, or silk-weavers, of Chanda. I shall deal briefly with each of these. The following is the estimated number of speakers of these broken dialects:-
