Exhibtat Pieces
The tomb of Ghaznavid Mahmud ( r. 998|1030) is located in the village of Rawza near the city of Ghazni, where many faiths gathered. Mahmud was also well known for an invasion of India; the British army plundered the gates of the tomb and carried them off to Delhi, claiming that they had been pillaged by Mahmud from Somnath in India.
