Changes in Programme

Due to some constraints on the part of some speakers, we had to make the following changes in the programme that has been already announced.

• Time slots for P8 (paper by Masayuki Onishi) and P28 (paper by Makoto Minegishi) have been interchanged.  Prof.Minegishi will present his paper in Slot P8 while Prof.Onishi's presentation of his paper will be in Slot P25.
• The following three authors will not be able to come for the symposium due to their constraints.

Speaker P19 (B.N.Patnaik), P23 (Annie Montaut) and P30 (Miriam Butt as well as T.King).

However, the full versions of their papers have been received by us and they are included in the Working Papers volume that will be distributed to all the registrants of the symposium.  We will be requesting some other invited scholars to initiate discussion on these two papers during their respective time-slots.  Since we will have scholars present who know the grammatical structures of Oriya, Hindi and Urdu as well as computational aspects, I anticipate some good discussion on these two papers in the absence of the original writers.
